2021: Decolonization of Everything
And do whatever it takes to get closer to consciousness.

Happy New Year! yes! We made it to 2021 and finally let go of 2020.
In a world where change is inevitable and continuous, the need to achieve that change without violence is essential for survival. — Andrew Young
Give yourself credit and those you love and admire. I hope this year brings you lots of love, joy, good health, wealth, and amazing new experiences while we are all still surviving a world pandemic in an unequal, capitalist, and socialists system.
Most of us are still going through a very traumatic year and most probably, will have to seek a form of therapy and counseling to keep moving forward stronger than before. More focus on what's important, less clutter, letting go of unsustainable habits, prioritizing our time and health in order to restore our relationship with mother Gaia and ourselves.
Here are some Angel card readings before the new year to keep going with focus, love, and clarity. And here is a new one for the year 2021 with some conscious decolonization mindset: we should all keep priority while we continue inner work, finding our way through this madness and mess that comes from systems created that are unequal, unjust, and not sustainable anymore.
In other words, we all need to get deeper into the decolonization and anti-racism bias mindset. First, 2021 Decolonization of Everything meaning:
It starts with an Indigenous framework centering on Indigenous land, Indigenous sovereignty, and Indigenous ways of thinking.
This is working progress because as a Taino descendant, history has been erased or written with a lot of misinformation. Starting with all of us being wiped out… This is true, we were massacred and the intention was to wipe us out.
However, our resilience, collective community, living with integrity plus truthfully, and our inner strength. These are bigger than any oppressor's tactics to keep us silent. Love and truth always win, no matter what. There are many people (including my father’s family and other Tainos influencers I’ve discovered last year) who tell us a different story than what was written in history books.
Another of the many reasons, white supremacy and colonial mindset is not sustainable and it requires ALL of us to dismantle what we were taught. Unfortunately, that is the education still being taught today. (Any students who are reading this, please do not just rely on the school to learn. Question everything you are reading, teachers bias, administration bias, and all education that has not been updated. 2020 was the year we all learned that it was a lie what we were taught for centuries and it’s all to keep us programmed and controlled. Now, you know, do better for yourself. Re-learn and keep a self-taught mindset; while forced to go to school to learn crap, that won't serve you anymore once you are out of the education system. It is mandatory to bottle up information but just keep in mind that your real education is the one you learn by yourself. Grades do not define you. Do your own research and question everything. Teachers, you know now too, it is your job to re-learn in order to teach the truth and the right education). #educationmatters

I thought Decolonization was based only on dismantling systems created from colonialism. However, decolonization goes deeper than that.
We are not perfect, and I need to recognize that I made a mistake assuming this. Colonialism taught systems tend to do that. Hence, correcting my mindset and sharing it with you. Hopefully, this helps you listen to understand, and be okay with making mistakes while you keep doing inner work.
Remember to have compassion while you dismantle. Is not easy, because it is a privilege to learn rather than experience it every day. Thankful to my best friend who helped me be aware of this.
Trust me, living it is an internal battle with our mental health, Physical survival, and making sure our communities are safe too. Is even more demanding as a parent. Let alone, single parent.
This is why I had to take a mental health break this weekend. After the new year, I got used to an online school routine for my kids to keep them home and safe. Then, I realized that my city rather endangers children and the staff; than keep online learning while cases are rising and we are in another strict lockdown for 4 weeks. Let’s add this to the history books of 2021.
Most parents didn’t say or do much. There was a survey to fill up after the new year. It hit pretty hard to realize that the decision of our prime minister came from that survey.
Again, letting all of us know where most parent's priorities and values are. I know it is not entirely their fault. This city is not helping NOBODY financially. The cost of living and expenses is higher than ever. However, let’s keep weed and alcohol stores open. Right?

It’s pretty sad because most of these parents fill up the survey. Have the means and the ways to keep their kids safe at home.
I’m done with pretending to keep others comfortable while most of us, POC are uncomfortable with injustice, discrimination, and oppression in Quebec city or any part of this world.
Your ignorance goes deeper than that. It is violence towards those who are vulnerable, trying to survive inequality and oppressive systems. Check your privilege if this sentence bothers you.
Another one for the history books: The federal government (Canada) is helping financially most of y’all during the lockdown. While most countries or human beings do not have that privilege. But no! The economy and money are more important than children and our health. Basically, their selfishness has no limit and that’s dangerous.
The federal financial assistance is not for those who don’t qualify or the voiceless. Hence, why covid-19 affects those who suffer from inequality, injustice, and capitalist systems. Which let’s tell it like it is, most of them don’t have kids. If they do, they are already in the system. However, nobody talks about those kids who survived abuse and violence last year.
I feel for those children and those who do live with their real parents. It’s not easy to live with parents who think of their children as a commodity and means to an end. Grateful for my Dominican culture roots, my family love, and what my mother taught me.
Online learning is the safest way, however, these city leaders value more weed, alcohol, their whitewashing, discrimination of language BS, and definitely, does not value children's lives. Yep, a bunch of psychopaths making insanity normal. You know the usual right?
To cherish what remains of the Earth and to foster its renewal is our only legitimate hope of survival. — Wendell Berry
In other words, staying silent and ignoring because it doesn’t affect you is worse. Anything that happens on this planet in regards to us, Mammals. Matters to all of us.
Therefore, when you hear or read someone saying to decolonize everything. It is a form of respect for those who have been doing the heavy work for centuries, protecting our natural resources from selfish capitalist bigots, with less success in the past.
In recent years, Indigenous is getting more recognition for what they have done because some of us have decided to amplify our voices more, get educated, listen to understand, and get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Also, being an ally and embracing Indigenous sovereignty.
In order to be really anti-racist and have decolonized mindset; work internally and then externally. Which I really recommend embracing Spiritual activism. First, we need to acknowledge the Indigenous land we are currently on, Indigenous sovereignty, and keep a learning mindset when it comes to Indigenous ways of thinking.
Is alright to make mistakes while decolonizing your mind and your ecosystem. One thing at a time, but we have to still show up. Especially, when the algorithm is trying to silence any BIPOC accounts right now. Because just like anti-racism work, we have a long way to go.
This book has helped a lot to understand better decolonization process and Indigenous teaching of a better and more sustainable future.
Getting closer to consciousness:
Learning and accepting (not easy but working on it) that we are human beings having a life experience. Same with social media platforms, rat race, and capitalist schemes. Which we all became very aware of last year.
More so for those who work on social media and are content creators. That’s why the internalized white supremacist and capitalist system bias also pivot last year. They created the next one: Clubhouse. Invite only? What are we back in high school?
“Clubhouse are big with celebrities.”… “Other than celebrities, the app is seemingly focused on people it considers an elite clientele. It became a status symbol of sorts for Silicon Valley types after its launch last year.”
Wasn’t this the same reason why social media platforms were created too?
Again, creating separation between us so they can keep control. However, now it is only the exclusive people that get invited. Good luck with that!
Use those platforms with conscious intention, create plus share wisely, and don’t let them consume your life. Talking from experience.
Life comes with the good and bad. Comparison and competition kill joy and our ability to be more creative with our time. Hence, the creation of these platforms we love so much. Don’t get me wrong, they are great sources of keeping connected, informed, share our story with our loved ones, and form new bonds with others on these platforms. (Meaningful and new friendships I form last year, plus learning from other communities were from these platforms).
Communication, creating passive income, and enjoying easy ways to make money. However, everything needs balance and you need to know your limits. The cost of not having boundaries and limits with social media is too high. Too much of anything creates imbalance and it affects our well-being. And now you are aware of why they were created in the first place.
Just remember to add joy into it, in all you do. Indigenous, Black, Latinos any POC communities are always encouraging rest, joy, and find forms of liberation even though we are not. But we are working on it together ;). It makes this mess less chaotic to go through and keep a positive mindset as you move forward. Stay conscious.
Life is a song — sing it. Life is a game — play it. Life is a challenge — meet it. Life is a dream — realize it. Life is a sacrifice — offer it. Life is love — enjoy it.
Sai Baba
Patience and divine timing are part of the personal development process. Which does not go with these old systems. It does with circular economy and equitable systems. This is why the old (unconscious) and colonial selfish mindsets are highly against these. Pay attention ❤
Internalized white supremacy + Racism bias in the medical, Science, and pharmaceutical systems cannot be ignored. Decolonization and anti-racism education must be their priority too.

We all need to work on inner work, in order to move forward and fight for our human rights, climate, and social justice and create more sustainable and equitable ecosystems. (the vaccines need to go through an anti-discrimination law before people of color take it and before we are all forced to take it. Democracy is being raped right now and most of all of we are letting it. You can clearly see it as how the USA just denied their own citizen's financial help in order for the people (mostly working in horrible conditions, low pay, and are considered essential workers) to be able to continue to survive in a country with the highest cases of covid-19. In other words, get them more desperate to take the vaccine. Especially those who are not as privileged and living in marginalized communities).
It’s not fair to force people without letting them understand MRNA and how generational trauma can affect our genetics. Diverse data matters.
The genes from your ancestry lineage (especially those with a history of terminal illnesses and mental illnesses caused by severe traumatic experiences Ex: Haloucust, Slavery, survive genocides, colonialism, civil war survivors, long history of childhood abuse, Raped victims, long incarceration, etc). These genes of the family of medical history with these characteristics and level of endurance plus resilience survived during catastrophic moments in human history matter a lot.
These genes need to be studied further and analyzed. Because now that we can edit DNA, therefore the ability to alter or change genetic makeup is possible.
These genes — Bell’s palsy, Swollen lymph nodes, and still unknown adverse rare symptoms that will start to surface later in these coming months. Need to be monitored as much as the normal side effects of this new vaccine.
“Four cases of Bell’s palsy have been reported in participants who received the vaccine, while none has been reported in those who got the placebo. However, those four cases are consistent with the rate of Bell’s palsy in the general population. In other words, there’s no clear evidence that the Bell’s palsy was caused by the vaccine. “
“Swollen lymph nodes (lymphadenopathy) occurred in a small portion of the participant population. And four people who received Pfizer’s vaccine and three who received Moderna’s developed Bell’s palsy, which, in most cases, causes temporary weakness or paralysis in the face.”
“FDA scientists have said that the documented cases of Bell’s palsy are “consistent with the expected background rate in the general population” and that “currently available information is insufficient to determine a causal relationship [between Bell’s palsy and] the vaccine.” However, the situation is worth monitoring, health experts say.”
Notice in these two articles how the same concept “general population”, “Expected background” are mentioned but also is dismissed and not considered important. My point in this?
Inequality plus racism are not sustainable. Especially, it does not serve anybody in the medical or pharmaceutical systems. Their practices and policies need to be monitored too. This can help reduce BIPOC or any POC stress or mistrust in taking this vaccine. Trust is earned, and unfortunately, these old systems have proven to all of us, that it needs to change and that it cannot be trusted.
Just like most people consider racism and white supremacy as a normal thing. Systemic racism in the scientific world shows up as silent violence which can have a huge effect on results in the medical and scientific data.
The symptoms that we now know can happen in rare cases, which we can monitor in the future; with more anti-bias studies. These rare gene activations can be turned off in mRNA. Therefore, reduce the future casualties or long-term symptoms caused by this vaccine.
However, it takes money and more research to bring diverse and race data into this vaccine. In other words, this simple act; can give the same amount of adverse rare symptoms for all of us and not just some of us. Again, racist bias exists IN ALL DEPARTMENTS AND SYSTEMS. Everywhere is the same, our experiences are not that different.
These systems were designed a long time ago based on capitalism, white supremacy, anti-black, patriarchy, sexism, socialism, fascism, and just plain racism all the way.
Believing that these systems are just going to go away without a fight, within your own self (conditioned and programmed, that’s why decolonization is important) and the external colonialism and capitalist system that keeps all of them -ism’s alive. You are highly unconscious and dangerous.
Please work on your bias as everyone on this planet who has been working on their consciousness has been doing and still going. This is a long journey of work, and it requires all of us. This is my personal opinion. Do your own research.
This video made me angry (my internalized shadow self (unconscious), which is letting me know that I need to heal and accept. Not easy.) at first, but watch until the end and you will see why we all need to change, hold ourselves accountable and the 1% billionaires.
I’ll be journaling plus creating more content as I’m re-learning, dismantling, and teaching my kids too. Going to add on my channel, more education videos plus Angel & Universe card reads. Seems most of you are enjoying it :) Thank you for subscribing. ❤
I’m on a quest, especially having Indigenous roots, unknown ancestry, and many cultures that have been stripped and completely erased. This is important for me, as an Environmentalist, Creative artist, and spiritual activist to find out why. My research, try to connect to my lineage, use creativity through adversity plus keep sharing truthfully in a creative conscious way for you.
Be kind to your planet, to you, and others.
Love and Light,
_AO.
