This past week has being very difficult to stay on track and focus. Injustice and violence are happening everywhere! This is an educational essay/blog (grab some tea and cookies❤), but these topics need to be addressed and shared for our younger audience, our eco-warriors, my BIPOC activist, highly sensitive spiritual beings, environmentalists, and our new/current readers.
Meanwhile, we are still expected to get things “done”, work through exhaustion, grief, loss, and dread of trying to live in societies that are not willing to change or hold each other accountable.
Also, free education, mental health, sustainable, just, and EQUITABLE societies! *Raising my two hands, my two feet, and doing each day something about it. Enough is enough. **Matriarchy, sustainability lifestyle, Renewable energy, just and equitable systems are All part of the process of our liberations. And we all need to start working internally plus externally towards these goals. Climate change is still all of us, issues and we can’t afford anymore to continue this madness for long.
We need more of this energy to be amplified just as we do on media about any “white-washing movie, music video, event, wtv the f!
We are tired of patriarchy failing over and over again! No accountability, there is no unity. It starts with you MEN! Respect, trust, honesty, and loyalty are earned, not given, or expected to be given. Just because you got Pelotas, has certain powers over people’s lives, got millions of followers on your social media, are a celebrity, can’t control your ego or urges, have entitlement, and got money or pretend you have as some of yall these days woohoo.
We all need healing, both female and masculine side. Especially, our female side because patriarchy, colonial, and capitalist systems are designed to silence and oppressed the voiceless for many years now. Change is coming but it starts from us. From our individual and collective actions together.
Energy must flow like water, like a river. We are energy and every action matters. We choose every single day. We can be better humans than we were yesterday or we choose what does not serve us and conform to settle. It’s a choice and it’s always your choice. Ignorance is a choice, being violent is a choice, being a hateful bigot plus racist and doing malicious intent towards another human being, animals, or any innocent creature on this earth, is a choice.
Anti-black BS, discrimination, abuse, violence, and racism are not acceptable nor excusable and we women are going to start demanding more.
Yep! F you patriarchy, capitalism, and oppressive systems!. Also, imposter syndrome is white supremacy, societal limited beliefs about race, sex, religion, our cultures being projected, manipulated, and heavily controlled. Pay attention it is a colonial mentality and is time to let it go loves. (I’m telling you this, but I’m also reminding me of this because as an artist, writer, and content creator women of color this is a daily internal battle. It does feel really good though when you conquer your own fears, doubts, and mental limitations. And just go for it :) Inner work is the best work and the most important! It really is. Work on you first, you are your first investment and commitment❤.)

Taking accountability for your toxic actions and changing it for the better wellbeing of all human kind, your enviroment and yourself is a choice. _AO
The MLK quote: “no one is free until we are all free” really hits my core does you?
These words and many other inspiring individuals motivate me to continue to dismantle and decolonize my mind, my girl's education, and my communities. Because the more I learn and wake up from this illusion of reality plus create awareness as we grow around here :) (So many exciting things are coming and can’t wait to share it soon. Stay tuned!) The more people I see are also waking up and I believe we are getting closer to freedom and liberation starting from within than ever before.
“Our hopes for a more just, safe, and peaceful world can only be achieved when there is universal respect for the inherent dignity and equal rights of all members of the human family.” — UN Women Executive Director Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka
Hope is powerful and so is love. Do not let them kill our joy and our hope, ever. I believe in Love and I believe in Mother Earth, Gaia, we are Earth warriors, all of us. We must start acting like it. Spirituality, mindfulness, and being conscious creators can get us closer too. Distractions, induce fear, abuse and oppression are part of the game, and if you don’t learn to play the Off-the-status-quo game. We are already doomed. And I think we are better than that. We have just forgotten who we really are and can become; especially when we choose to do good and be good.
We can all start small like we are very aware that we need to balance or completely reduce our consumption habits. This is facts! Like sugar, meat, plastics, hoarding anything, toxic and abusive habits towards ourselves and others. Life is suffering and pain, but it does not mean we have to make it more difficult for ourselves. Perception is everything and so are our choices, never forget that.
Honestly, meditation, praying, yoga, reading, writing, and painting practices every day has taught me so much ❤
“Awakening is not changing who you are but discarding who you are not”. — Deepak Chopra
I’m still learning though and healing. But for sure, understanding and accepting that suffering is optional. I get that, however, sometimes there are things outside of our control designed to keep us believing that we constantly need to suffer, the hustle mentality, we must give up our dreams and we must let injustices and those who oppressed us continue doing so.
Most of us were asleep, programmed to a point that we thought that ignoring and staying silent was the normal thing. Nop, that's white supremacy, racism, capitalism, and anti-black oppressive systems taught in schools and at home. Still are till this day… It needs to change and soon.
We must demand change from oppressive systems into a circular economy system together immediately.
Because it is getting out of hand and we are all witnesses, or spectators, or have become really good at lying, manipulating, controlling, and become ignorant selfish brats. Especially those who have more than enough money, but it just never enough for them and they are okay with injustices, creating more waste, destroying plus disrespecting our resources, our health plus nature for profit, and violence because it benefits them.
Individuals who are truly conscious and aware would never stay silent or conform or ignore their own and others' toxic behaviors because “it just doesn’t affect me”. Everything should matter to us and we should care more for others. We are all in this together for real. We are all connected whether we believe it or not. It just what it is. Just like the universe, it exists therefore it just is and is also within us. We are stardust and our time here is short but always for a purpose whether good or bad. Remember, everything here is a learning experience.
“Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help shall all be saved”. — Jane Goodall
God’s essence and our love, compassion, selfishness, kindness, inner liberation, our highest vibrations values, and qualities. All of these come from God's source. Our spirits that are part of nature (not separated as we are still being taught this bs in school and college…) Anything that separates us, creates division, hate/rage within ourselves, then we act unconsciously as most of our learning about “shoulds, and Don’ts” is 95% societies limited beliefs plus bias and alienate us from our source, our true selves is not from God.
Because God is consciousness and we have access to it anytime we want. Working on personal growth and staying in your high vibrational consciousness state is all our birthright and it is our choice. We can literally heal ourselves. Praying, mindfulness and meditation practices are powerful healing practices and you can do it in any way you want ❤.
Praying does not need to be only at church every Sunday…(Hispanic and Quebec catholic people are going to be mad I wrote this. But is true, you don’t need all external things to connect to God, we are connecting to him right now through this moment while reading. Nothing is a coincidence, God speaks to us in many forms and if you are reading this, you were meant to read this today).
Christianity and most religions are types of “spiritual practices”:
“It is important to remember that there are many other spiritual traditions that exist throughout the world, including traditional African and Indigenous spiritual practices. Such spiritual practices can be particularly important to groups of people who have been subjected to the effects of colonialism.”
In my opinion, as a once catholic and Christian, I’ve learned through it that it has always been designed to divide, induce fear, doubts, to dominate, control, and conquer in the name of “God”. That’s why we have our own spirit within us to get us back into our light through our own darkness (ying-yang) plus struggles in this life which are meant to teach us lessons that will always lead us back to love, to god.
And that’s why spirituality is a sacred and magical place that fortunately does not need to be defined. And it never will. It can only be felt and experienced within us which is why is not easy to do. Because it is easy and comfortable to seek external and project to others what we do not want to faced or heal within ourselves.
It is what it is because we are spiritual beings living in a physical body having a physical experience. Our time here is limited but our spirits are eternal and unlimited. And that’s why they do not teach us this in schools and use colonial practices instead. Because the system fears what we can become once we learn to know ourselves. Because that’s where true liberation begins.
Read Anti-colonial history books here and start decolonizing everything. Set your spirit free. Our love is within and you need to understand this world is multidimensional and we are one but we are not the “only” ones who live on this planet. Different dimensions occur within our current reality, and that’s another deep topic I’ll be talking about on my blogs and new e-books soon. ❤
NOW THE V situation:
This is getting out of hand as those who wish not to take it are also being targeted and gaslight because these people DO have their right to say NO.
However, I’m not saying that to justify those who are acting very strange, violent, and hateful towards others because they don’t believe that “covid-19” is real… That is just plain dumb. Those who are deciding to NOT take it, but choose instead to induce fear, not wear a mask, not follow proper health guidelines (wash your hands, distance) when surrounded in crowded places or places where people can be compromised. Stay away from them if you can. Let the toxic and the negative take themselves out. Mind your own business, takes lots of vitamins D, keep your immune systems high up ⬆️ you know the drill? Keep your body, mind, and spirit healthy.
Mother Nature knows best. Trash needs to be discarded, let them go! On The other hand, Plastic waste, ignorance, plus violence, and threats to those voicing the truth (You decide for yourself, this is not a conspiracy. These are facts, science, and truth and we need to be more informed for real. Our lives are not a joke or are a commodity or are we mental experiment for a bunch of rich asswipes and their corporations leeches and OUR BODY BELONGS TO US. 💯✊🏾)are yet to be held accountable for…
Therefore, our rights as human rights and sovereignty, plus integrity. We can also decide what to do and not do. That choice alone needs to and should be respected. By all members of society, humanity living, sharing, caring for the land as we do our kids and women. Creating a just, equitable, and sustainable world for all of us.
We have a more drastic massive problem right now! environmental racism, climate change, injustice, massive mental health issues of depression and social, health, political warfare insanity, destroying everything for us now and our children for profit on the other hand…
Meanwhile, there are also another group of people who don’t trust this system BS and I don’t blame them, judge, or condemn them. Practice non-judgment for a day or week! and you’ll see how your life will find more meaningful present moments and less fear, negative behaviors, or projecting unresolved plus unconscious bias into others.
We human beings have a sick, toxic, and twisted history of passing our traumas into others. Unconscious, egocentric, narcissistic abusers and unhealed trauma people, love projecting and making others feel like crap so they can feel better about themselves.
It’s a sad and fact reality but the good news is the more aware you become and love yourself more. The more you will notice them and start gravitating away (if you can, run!) or the Universe as it is so generous, patient, and loves us unconditionally; it will remove things, people, or situations out of your journey. Trust the process, for real.
We are all healing in our own unique ways, so be patient with yourself, this is a lifetime of breaking generational traumas journey.
We are not all perfect, but it matters to keep moving forward without competing, comparing, or jealous of each other and not give up even when healing gets hard. Spiritually enlightened and conscious beings are not conforming or are in any rush to applicate to a system that does NOT benefit all humanity and is based on separation. Love and compassion should be all of us our internal and external activism.
It takes a lot to realize how much we have been programmed and conditioned. If you are not questioning the systems and trying to work into a more sustainable, just, and equitable system. You are heavily programmed and I hope you find healing and take the time to decolonized everything, so you can set yourself free.
Also, this community might not be for you. We are not okay with hate/violent crimes, keeping children in cages, abuse, misogyny, sexism, racism, hate speech, violation, and discrimination of ANY HUMAN, ANIMAL, AND LAND RIGHTS! We are here to love and serve a purpose with everyone. Our love language here is writing, education, spiritual activism & storytelling for change. Yep! the change we wish and desperately demand for all of us and not JUST some of us.
“At any moment, you have a choice, that either leads you closer to your spirit or further away from it”. — Thich Nhat Hanh
Unity and compassion go right in hand, but that’s a concept that not many would or will understand unless they have decided to ground themselves and awaken their asleep spirit.
Everything is a choice and I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect, integrity, and dignity. Even if what they believe or want; doesn’t go with your beliefs. As long as they are not causing harm to others or themselves, people should mind their own business and let people be.
Jesus's story and his life were actually amazingly revolutionary. He really was a real G activist against the status quo, injustice, and oppression that’s why they crucified Jesus. Go read his story instead of picking eggs and wasting money plus paper on this capitalized tradition(it’s not sustainable anymore these capitalism marketing strategies so unnecessary plus so MUCH WASTE! ) which is exactly why Jesus was against and die for 🤦🏽♀️ making it make sense… Just like George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and all the other death stories… profit through media and encourage fear, doubts, violence, and showing traumatic experiences on daily basis to keep the masses submissive and complacent… total mental slavery and making it normal…
Anyways, go read Jesus's story, his spirit lives in all of us, and his story is precious and inspirational. Happy Easter!
That’s why we should never lose hope in ourselves and humanity. Jesus was full of so much love for all of us that he just went for it, full higher consciousness. “I’m going to do good and show everyone that love, compassion, and kindness, our spirit are capable of healing, self-healing, and many more capabilities at the same time help others and love them unconditionally”.
However, you have to believe, pray, meditate, have compassion, and have an undeniable faith. Jesus was a master of these. He believes and tapping into his higher consciousness daily. He did the work, he practices spiritually every day. Probably made some mistakes, he was also human just like us. But I’m sure there is human being’s decency from him. They don’t say it in the bible. But he was a man. With higher consciousness. So if one day we discovered the bloodline of Jesus, well, your papa was awesome and he dies to save all
Of us. Honorable death.
He believed in love so much “fuck it, I love them so I’m going to suffer the most traumatic death of all… so we can all be free” All of us.
So I’m glad the bible has bits of his story but I also feel like the bible has to turn into a business and use for political and judicial gains. They justify a lot their atrocities, murdering and abuse innocent people and children.. meanwhile created systems to benefit themselves and condemned, discriminate, alienate, abuse, and oppressed those going against their beliefs … which is what governments and all operating systems in every country in the world 🌎 operate till this day. Wake up, people!
Therefore, Climate change is also caused by certain religious beliefs doctrine… Catholic Church and Christianity ✝️ are a spiritual practice but it needs to be decolonized. Starting by them given away all their riches to eradicate poverty and hunger. However, that’s not how they roll right? … anyways, we really can’t control what others do, we only have control of our own self. Our own perceptions. Our own healing massive traumas, deprogrammed and reprogram healthier and abundance mindset.
Everyone has their own values, and the people who are choosing not to be vaccinated perhaps is because they are waiting until all most vulnerable and exposed outside to work get it first, have COMPROMISE IMMUNE SYSTEMS and many others that you have no idea of.
People have the right to choose, say NO and honestly, the passport BS is colonial manipulation at work as so is the new trend now COVID-19 pressure to post and share that you took it. Creating more separation between us. So those living in fear and acting unconsciously can be or feel “Acceptable” into basic human necessities in societies that we are ALL must be contributing in order to survive with our own labor. It IS our right to say no if we choose to and that MUST be respected and not condemn or discriminated against.
I honestly don’t trust the way and the measure this government system is taking to force people into taking it as they also are very aware of the consequences of people taking it… and how it will compromise their immune systems in the future. It just leaves a lot, to say the least, which I’m going to follow my brother Jesus, my ancestors, and my heart plus gut. Not conforming to this BS ever unless we see changes of behavior and accountability. Until then, no thank you. Please be kind and STOP HATING, COMPARING, COMPETITION, and JUDGING!
Let’s talk about Systemic Racism, Domestic Violence, and Femicide
Taken photo by the writer.
(colonial and patriarchy that was/are still considered normal and even the supreme court, all society departments, policies, administrations and governments excuses are BS in the name of “GOD”. )
This is to justify their wrongful convictions, domestic violence, abuse towards children of any kind is a colonial BS; anti-abortion and sexual origination laws, (weirdest one and it only indicates to me that those people passing these laws have small penis energy and they need to do this so nobody knows and to make themselves feel better. However, we do know assholes and your karma too. ¯\(°_o)/¯), Reduce sentence when the person is white or their white peer rapes a woman, abuses a child, and violated more than any person can do to a bare minimum sentence or worse, set them free.
On the other hand, any BIPOC gets to rot in jail or die in jail, injustices, police brutality, murder by law enforcement, and prone to mass incarceration till this day. This is why politicians and our current leaders (white supremacy-at-work) are announcing “systemic and environmental racism” cannot be recognized in their cities. I wonder which corporation or billionaires are paying them to do this? Wanna guess together?
Or you know the usual tactic of shaming and publicly humiliating those who are voicing the reality (any BIPOC tired of this system and their lies) our current leaders are trying very hard to keep us silent, conforming, or prevent us from expressing our real traumatic experiences and concerns.
Yet, very aware that creating such statements in itself, is already inducing converted abuse and violence, we cannot accept this nor we will. This article from National Post is one of the many examples of reversed and brain-washed white supremacy at work.
And this blog today is Anti-white supremacy, anti-capitalism, and decolonization at work too ❤ Turning negatives and darkness into an educational, positive, and conscious lightwork experience. This is Female warrior love energy mixed with my masculine (still healing) which demands justice. And so it will be.
Reminder: Just because it hasn’t happened to you, it does not mean it does not exist or that people’s experiences are not valid or worth sharing the truth. Lack of education, empathy, lack of conscious leadership skills in power with money and are unconscious men, very dangerous and unsustainable hence climate change and their lack of action. It is easier to gaslight, project, and call on people without taking accountability for your own self Mister Trudeau and Mister Legault.
You are both guilty of atrocities too and you need to be held accountable whether you like it or not. All True and conscious leaders know this and you are both are not exempt, just because you are you. Nobody is above the law of Nature, Karma, and God. *Check yourself before you wreck yourself!*
We all matter and our voices matter. And we are done conforming to keep you all comfortable while most of us are dying, being murder, killed, poison through our waters, our food is disgustingly full of pesticide and plastic everywhere! we have tremendous, massive waste, poverty, hunger, and mental health problems. Due to your lack of accountability and just plain toxic!
But no, let us hear and read how both of your feelings are being hurt because we are voicing your dark shadows that you are too busy not to notice. However, not so busy with other toxic, abuse, and unconscious behaviors, right?
“Not everything that is faced can be changed. But nothing can be changed until it is faced”. — James A. Baldwin
Another issue Domestic Violence, which happened here in my city since we are still in Women’s month (and it’s every day by the way!) and was also invited to attend last Saturday by my good friend Thierry Lindor. (who by the way, was the first entrepreneur I asked for advice on WritersYep start-up idea and he encouraged me to continue to build it and to write 4 years ago. So my 500 newsletter readers, and my 200 readers on the new website ❤ , our followers on IG, and 900 Youtube subscribers love you! Go give some love as this space most probably wouldn't have happened if it wasn’t for Thierry: “Angie, go for it. Love WritersYep idea, can’t wait to read your new book. Reach me when it’s ready and I’ll love to see what happens” and here we are. And this is just the beginning. Thank you Thierry for always believing, supporting, and encouraging me. Appreciate you! ❤)
Honestly, most of the BIPOC voices here in Quebec, Montreal are being silent, murder, abused, discriminated against, systemic racism is killing most of us during a world pandemic. However, there are only a few that are voicing and doing something about it here. I believe most of us Women of color and Men living in this rotten city are alive today and feel hope again to continue. It is because of brave warriors and courageous human beings who are the voice to the voiceless like Thierry and others around the world. Grateful for you ❤
“The tragic events in which seven women have lost their lives since the start of the year in Quebec all have one common denominator: the murderers are men. The trend alerted a group of men who gathered on Saturday to speak out against violence against women by encouraging the opening of the discussion between men with the hashtag #ParleATesBoys.”
When I came back home that Saturday. The need & guidance to show up and pay my respect to these women who were murder by weak and angry men was so strong. As I was a victim of domestic violence and decided to end it before it escalated and for my daughter's wellbeing. I chose to show them, to always choose you over any men, money and low vibes plus abusive family or friends.
Abuse of any kind is unacceptable and inhumane. It should not be ignored, reduce to satisfy patriarchy, rapist, colonial, abusive, violent system and lack of leadership; all of these should be punishable. There is a need to create better methods of holding others accountable for their actions instead of using prisons. Mass incarceration is a problem that also needs solutions.
Say their names, the 7 victims:
Rebekah Love Harry killed on March 23 in Montreal.
Nadège Jolicoeur, killed on March 19 in St-Léonard.
Myriam Dallaire killed on March 1 in Ste-Sophie.
Sylvie Bisson killed on March 1 in Ste-Sophie.
Nancy Roy killed on February 23 in St-Hyacinthe.
Marly Édouard, killed on February 21 in Laval.
Elisapee Angma killed on February 5 in Kuujjuaq.
Thank you so much to Joseph Toto, Rica Lem, Wiel Prosper, and Thierry Lindor for hosting this event in memory of our sister's female victims and directing the issue to men. Because Femicide is unacceptable and inhumane.

ASIAN LIVES MATTER EVERYDAY AND ALWAYS
What happened a couple of weeks ago in Atlanta was a harrowing reminder of how white supremacy, xenophobia, and white nationalism continue to rear their ugly head in not only the U.S. on a broad scale but in our own collective spaces.
Spaces we consider to be safe, free from emotional turmoil and protected from any potential trauma. Writing blogs, planning content for the week ahead after meditation, and felt the need to address this today.
We need to talk and create more awareness together about this.
Today, I want to bring attention to the Asian American, Canadian, and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community, the violence they’re experiencing, and how we all can stand in solidarity and show support in real, meaningful ways while making sure their voices are uplifted.
NBC reports that in 2020, anti-Asian hate crimes increased by nearly 150%. While the overall hate crime rate is declining, hate crimes targeting Asian people are spiking up.
And, a new report shows 3,795 anti-Asian hate incidents (verbal and physical assault) between March 19, 2020, and February 28, 2021. More than 500 incidents happened in 2021. The majority targeted Asian women.
Not all incidents get reported to police, so these numbers really just reflect a fraction of what’s actually happening.
Why is this happening?
There are many reasons, not just one. One main reason is the history of white supremacy and the dehumanization of the AAPI community as a whole dating as far back as the 1850s, where the Supreme Court case People v. Hall concluded that Chinese Americans and Chinese immigrants (along with anyone else who isn’t white) had no rights to testify against white citizens.
Then, there is the binary, hypersexualization, and objectification of Asian women predominantly shown in western media for the last half-century or so.
But more recently, the former U.S. President labeled COVID-19, “the China virus” “Wuhan Virus” and “Kung flu,” and used other very racist rhetoric to describe the virus, inciting his followers, and enabling them to feel justified in their acts of violence and hate.
This is a pattern we’ve seen countless times in the past — a disgusting loop we keep repeating. Whenever something bad happens, human beings rush to find a scapegoat and cast blame.
As Stephen Mihm notes in a piece for The Japan Times, “Sadly, this is nothing new.” Christians blamed Jews for the bubonic plague in 1348. In 1916, Italian immigrants in New York were blamed for polio. Our world has an “ugly history of blaming ethnic groups for disease outbreaks,” to quote Mihm. Whoever is new in town, has the “wrong” shade of skin or hair, the “wrong” language, or the “wrong” religion gets blamed and abused. We must work together to stop this pattern from continuing.
How to stand in solidarity with your Asian friends, colleagues, clients, and other people in your community:
Support Asian business owners. Many Asian businesses have been vandalized, and owners have been terrorized. Bricks, windows, shattered glass, hateful graffiti, and worse. This is happening right now, even in U.S. cities that are supposedly “liberal” and “progressive.” Eleven Asian-owned businesses were vandalized in Portland, Oregon during the last month alone.
Support businesses not just with thoughts and prayers and the occasional Instagram post — please show support with your dollars. Buy products and services. Hire vendors. Book venues. Kind words are great, but they don’t pay the rent or keep the electricity on.
Check-in with your Asian employees, freelancers, and other team members. Let them know, “I know this is a difficult time. I want to make sure you feel safe at work. And I want to make sure you’re getting the rest and self-care that you need. Offer these folks extra paid time off — a mental health day. Hire a therapist to provide counseling to handle the shock, grief, and stress.
Check-in with your friends and colleagues. Ask, “How are you doing?” Listen. And let them know, “It’s okay if you don’t want to talk. Sometimes talking is tiring and doesn’t feel good. Just know I am here for you. If there is anything I can do to make your week a little easier — grocery delivery, taking a project off your plate, anything — just say the word.”
Use your platform (this means your social media channels, your newsletter, blog, podcast, webinars, anywhere you show up to speak, write, teach, lead) to highlight Asian writers, artists, athletes, and entrepreneurs and draw attention to their work. You don’t need to do this “once a year” at a “special moment.” Do it all the time. Make it normal and ordinary. (This is what WP Team and I will be the focus on and commit to doing for this year alongside other BIPOC communities and businesses).
Take a moment of silence to honor people who have been senselessly killed — including the people shot and killed at Young’s Asian Massage spa in Georgia a few days ago: Xiaojie Tan. Daoyou Feng. Delaina Ashley Yaun Gonzalez. Paul Andre Michels. Hyeon Jeong Park. There are others, yet to be identified to the public. Say their names. Tell their stories.
Here at WritersYep, Podcast Your Story Matter, and AngieBlog we stand in solidarity with all human beings who have been oppressed, marginalized, harassed, assaulted, or made to feel less than human.
This includes Black people, people of color, people who are differently-abled, immigrants, queer, trans, and non-binary folks, and all women and girls.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “No one is free until we are all free.”
We live by these words.
We don’t have to, nor should we, wait for something to happen to us directly before we take a stand. We are all united in our fight against white supremacy. It’s not enough for one group to gain access to wealth, respect, peace, power, and joy. This victory is incomplete until we can all enjoy those birthrights.
We compiled a list of reputable organizations dedicated to fighting racism and xenophobia against the AAPI community. You can show support for the community, survivors, and families of those whose lives were lost in this senseless act of violence by:
Supporting the Stop AAPI Hate or Hate Is A Virus organization.
Donating to the Asian Mental Health Collective.
Signing the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum’s petition to Condemn Hate and Violence Against Asian American Women.
You may also consider donating to organizations that help the Asian community including, Canadian Anti-Racism Network, Canadian Society for Asian Arts, Canadian and Southeast Asian Legal Centre, Asian Canadian Benevolent Association For The Elderly, Chinese Canadian National Council, and South Asian Women’s Centre.
TRANS LIVES MATTER ALWAYS AND FOREVER
Tell me something: Why is it always some old white gag, politician, wrinkle racist, white supremacist, and just plain ignorant and unconscious that get to “DECIDE” about human rights issues? Especially when it comes to Women’s rights.
Why are we allowing this to continue?
I mean these people have NO IDEA what trans have to go through and deal with on a daily basis. Now be publicly humiliated, discriminated against to receive proper health care, participate in sports and exclude them from everything. To make matters worse, passed these hateful/violent (induce traumas and fear, you know the usual colonial hateful tactics of these oppressive systems, again, needs to be dismantled and decolonized) laws before the International Transgender Day of Visibility. This is inhumane and unacceptable.
How to be a good ally
Here are a few ways to support the transgender community today:
Seek out stories by transgender creators. Seek out authentic stories and media that have been created by the transgender community, such as the Transgender Film Center, a non-profit organization that supports transgender filmmakers and their projects.
Call your local LGBTQ center. See what kind of help they need, whether it be volunteering or offering a service that you’re good at.
Educate yourself. Allies can start by learning the basic terminology surrounding the transgender community. For example, people often confuse sexual orientation and gender identity. There are many places online that share tips on how to be a good ally.
Many transgender people are happy to discuss their experience, but allies shouldn’t always assume that’s the case. There are so many resources out there to help you if you want to learn more about the community and how to be supportive.
We are all one. God loves you and all of us just the way you are and whatever you decide to do or not. The universe and God always love you and are there to support you. You are not alone. You are here to experience love, joy, and freedom.
We really do believe that all of us deserve to be free and living in peace. And it is a possibility like the air we breathe, like the water we drink, and that undeniable faith and knowledge as to when we know the sun will rise and set at specific and divine timing. Until then keep working on your selves, healing, be kind to others and your planet always.
Hope you enjoy this read ❤ My team and I will keep fighting tirelessly until we are ALL free. Financially free. Emotionally free. Spiritually Free. Liberated in all ways.
In solidarity with you, today and always.
Love and Light,
_AO🦋
